If God is So Pleased . . . June 24, 2012
Acts 19: 8-20
If God is so pleased to use us, perhaps we will have the privilege of seeing revival and awakening happen in our communities. We see this happening in Acts 19, pointing people to Jesus.
l. We must have a consistent message V 8 – 10a
entered in the snynagogue
A Boldly, Eph6:19-20
B In midst of opposition V9, common for Paul ll Tim 3:12
C Consistent message throughout V8b, Kingdom of God – The message
ll. We must have concern for multitudes V10
A Province of Asia – 2 years, so that All -- cp V26
B What impact do we have? Do we leave a “Jesus Footprint?”
lll. We must be connected to the Master V11.
A God did V11; God is pleased to do what He so wills
B Remind of when someone touched Jesus, Mt 9:21,
C V13 shows the neg and being disconnect, danger of dabbling w/ the devil
D Don’t underestimate the forces of evil. Eph 6, l Tim 4:1, ll Cor 6:14-17
lV I must consecrate myself V17 – 19
Changed from We to I – too often we concerned about someone else
We are waiting for the world to change,
We think revival comes if we have revival meetings,
If we’re waiting for the world to change, we will be waiting a long time!
ll Chronicles 7:14 states if MY PEOPLE WILL . . PRAY, perhaps we will see the privilege of seeing revival happening in our community
